Legal Cashier – Full Time, Office-Based (No Hybrid Working)
We are seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join our clients' team on a full-time, office-based basis. You will work closely with our Accounts Manager and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our finance function.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position requiring accuracy, attention to detail and a solid understanding of legal finance processes. You will be responsible for a range of cashiering duties, ensuring compliance with SAR, AML and all regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements
* Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
* Previous experience working within a law firm
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles
* Familiarity with property transactions and completion statements
Key Responsibilities
* Managing client and office ledger transactions
* Posting bills, receipts, payments and disbursements
* Processing and creating bank payments
* Ensuring all financial processes are compliant and accurately recorded
