Reed Accountancy are supporting a client based in Melksham in finding an experienced Finance Manager to join theirinternational, market leading business.This role is integral to the smooth running of our group finance shared service teams and offers an opportunity to work with a company that boasts over 500 years of collective heritage in handcrafted furniture. We are looking for a professional who is adept at managing transactional teams and implementing financial controls and processes.Day to Day of the role:
* Oversee the group finance shared service teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger, with 3 direct reports.
* Develop and provide KPIs and metrics to senior management.
* Organise and prioritise workloads to consistently hit KPIs.
* Build and develop stakeholder relationships within the company.
* Implement and maintain financial accounting controls and processes, continually reviewing and documenting improvements.
* Finalise the implementation of current AP automation software.
* Facilitate future finance efficiency projects.
* Assist with group audits and general assistance to group finance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified or Part Qualified Chartered Accountant.
* Strong experience with ERP systems and Excel.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial matters clearly.
* Experience managing transactional teams and setting targets/KPIs.
* Knowledge of accounting concepts and principles.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
* Ability to delegate and operate with a high level of autonomy.
* Experience in leading process improvement projects.
* Skilled in data extraction, manipulation, and problem-solving.
