Group Financial Controller | Lancaster | £75,000 – £100,000 + benefits | International Group | High-Profile Leadership RoleAxon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a successful international group to recruit a Group Financial Controller. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role with direct exposure to the CFO and senior stakeholders across the business.The Group FC will be responsible for leading the finance function across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring robust reporting and controls while also driving process improvement and supporting strategic decision-making. It’s an ideal role for a technically strong qualified accountant who is looking to build a high-profile career in an international environment.The role:
* Lead the group reporting cycle: consolidations, statutory accounts, external audit, tax and treasury
* Manage and develop a high-performing finance team
* Drive improvements in financial controls, systems, and reporting processes
* Business partner with the CFO and senior management across international entities
* Support the group’s growth strategy, including M&A, system upgrades, and process harmonisation
What we’re looking for:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with a strong technical background (ideally practice-trained)
* Proven experience in group consolidations and statutory reporting
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor a team
* Commercially minded with excellent communication skills to influence at senior level
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
