Recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK structural steel specialist delivering projects nationwide across a wide range of sectors. Opportunity to work within a well-established and highly respected business involved in everything from simple building frames to complex structural steel projects.
Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple projects nationwide.
* Administer subcontractor accounts, terms, warranties, and bonds.
* Prepare and submit variations, claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
* Monitor project cost and revenue performance including cashflow forecasting.
* Provide commercial and contractual advice internally and externally.
* Liaise closely with clients and subcontractors across live project sites.
* Support project delivery by controlling costs, mitigating risks, and maximising value.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience within construction, ideally structural steel.
* Previous structural steel industry experience advantageous but not essential.
* Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* HND, degree, or relevant academic qualifications advantageous.
* Professional membership such as RICS beneficial but not essential.
