An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and motivated individuals to join the team of Radiographers at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth. The department offers a supportive and encouraging environment in which to develop as a professional and move forward in your radiographer career. Responsibilities
* This Band 5 Radiographer position is in the MRI department with opportunities to train in a specialist area.
* You will undertake cannulation training and work with a committed team of radiographers and support staff.
* You will be provided with a training/competency preceptorship plan and full support to become trained in the modality.
* Modern scanners and newly refurbished working areas are available at each hospital.
* Working hours: 37.5 hours per week including long days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications
* Essential: BSc Diagnostic Imaging (or equivalent)
* Essential: Active HCPC registration
Desirable
* CPD Portfolio
* Working experience as a Diagnostic Radiographer
* Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
Experience
* Essential: Skilled in projectional radiography techniques and modification of exposure factors.
* Experience of using radiology IT and PACS systems to record and review patient information.
Desirable Experience
* Experience of using different systems (CR, DR) and equipment from different providers.
