Job Title: Lead Clinician
Location: New Barn School – Berkshire RG20 8HZ
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent – 52 weeks Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

The Role
Lead the in‑house Clinical Team at New Barn School, working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. Split responsibilities between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Provide bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need (autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH). Meet EHCP plans through OFG’s clinical ways of working. Coordinate line management for onsite clinical staff and lead service development of the school‑based clinical service in partnership with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
Essential Criteria
* Degree / Doctorate in Speech and Language Therapy / Occupational Therapy / Psychotherapy / Psychology
* Valid and up to date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS)
* Experience within the specialist client group, working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
