Job overview
Swansea Bay University Health Board Radiology services are provided on three main sites: Morriston (Swansea), Singleton (Swansea) and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals.
We are looking to appoint a Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographer to support mammography services on the Singleton site, joining the busy multidisciplinary teams there. You should be a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer with current HCPC registration and a post graduate qualification in Mammography.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve supporting the Mammography service in Singleton Hospital. This role may also involve rotation through different departments in Swansea Bay University Health Board.
You should have substantial experience within Radiography, be BSc / DCR qualified, be able to demonstrate evidence of organisational and leadership skills and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Experience in Mammography will be essential to the role.
The Department is committed to providing training and development for all staff. All Radiographers are involved with teaching undergraduate student Radiographers from the University Hospital of Wales.
