Some support roles in financial planning become repetitive.
Producing reports. Processing cases. Chasing providers. Little client involvement. Little visibility within the business.
This opportunity offers something broader.
A well-established boutique financial planning firm is seeking a Diploma-qualified Paraplanner or Senior Paraplanner to support a Senior Financial Adviser within a close-knit and highly professional environment.
The business has been established for over 20 years and specialises in genuine lifestyle financial planning, focusing on long-term client relationships, cash flow modelling and holistic advice rather than transactional product sales.
This is a true advice business.
The majority of income is recurring and ongoing, creating a stable environment focused on delivering great client outcomes.
You will work alongside:
Chartered Managing Director
Senior Chartered Financial Adviser
Operations Manager
Client Manager
External Paraplanning Support
Who might this role suit?
An experienced Paraplanner seeking broader involvement in a business
A Senior Paraplanner looking for a more client-facing role
A Client Manager with strong technical capability
A Financial Planning Administrator ready to take the next step in their career
The role combines:
Suitability report writing
Adviser support
Client relationship management
Technical administration
Meeting preparation
Ongoing servicing support
External paraplanning support is already utilised for highly technical or overflow work, therefore the business is open-minded regarding the level of report writing experience you currently possess.
We are looking for someone who:
Is Diploma qualified
Understands financial planning and client relationships
Enjoys working directly with advisers and clients
Is organised, proactive and personable
Wants to continue developing professionally
Values being part of a collaborative office environment
Although this is not a trainee adviser role, the successful individual will be supported towards Chartered status, which is viewed internally as a prerequisite to becoming an adviser within the firm.
The office remains the main place of work because the business values collaboration, culture and shared purpose. However, flexibility is available when genuinely needed, with no rigid hybrid working policies.
