About the Role: As a Community Teacher, you will deliver tailored educational support to children and young people in community settings, homes, or designated outreach locations. You will work with learners who may have complex needs, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) challenges, or have experienced disrupted education. Your focus will be on re-engagement, building trust, and enabling educational progress. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a broad curriculum, often on a 1:1 or small group basis Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs and learning styles Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external agencies to create individual learning plans Monitor progress and provide regular feedback and reports Promote emotional well-being, confidence, and resilience in learners Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred; unqualified teachers with relevant experience will be considered Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH, or within alternative provision settings Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills A flexible, compassionate, and resilient approach A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel between sites may be required) Please note: Our client does not offer sponsorship.
