The Supply Chain Director oversees:
1. End-to-end supply chain operations within a specific cluster, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant product delivery.
2. Responsibilities include coordinating demand planning, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.
3. They manage local logistics service providers, support country SC managers, and collaborate with regional and cluster commercial leadership and the Global Supply Chain team to optimize processes and enhance performance.
Role and responsibilities:
Responsible for Supply Chain operations in the cluster, including Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning process, Inventory management, country logistics, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing country's monthly demand review process, reviews demand forecast and supply gaps, and ensures consensus between Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain.
2. Analyzing backorder reports and working with the central team through the SCRIM process, ensuring timely supply of goods to the cluster.
3. Communicating supply plan and supply disruptions to the cluster commercial leadership.
4. Responsible for 3rd Party warehousing and logistics operator activities, reviews monthly performance indicators, ensuring order fulfillment and operating cost targets are met.
5. Responsible for complying with internal and external regulations for controlled drug storage and distribution.
6. Supporting relationship management of local and regional distributors or wholesalers.
7. Supervising cluster country supply chain managers, agreeing on objectives and assigning priorities, and ensuring adherence to plan.
8. Representing the Supply Chain function in the Cluster Leadership team.
What you'll bring:
* University degree in operations/quality, business, or finance.
* Multi-year experience leading complex supply chain operations in regulated industries and various markets.
* Solid understanding of the healthcare environment, including wholesalers and key accounts.
* Experience in a highly regulated industry.
* European and/or international experience.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
* Knowledge of demand/supply planning processes and logistics operations.
* Strong overall business and financial acumen.
* Demonstrated capability to effectively lead and implement business change.
* Proven ability to lead multicultural teams to deliver business goals.
* Communicate well with internal/external stakeholders and collaborate with other functions.
* APICS certification is desirable.
