About the Role
The Shift Team Leader will manage a team across four assembly lines in the high-care area responsible for ready-made and pre-cooked meals. Each line operates with 8-10 team members, equating to approximately 40 direct reports during the night shift.
You will be at the heart of overnight production, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a visible leadership role that plays a vital part in maintaining product quality, output, and team performance throughout the night shift.
This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership position and make a real impact in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of approx. 40 operatives across four production lines during night shifts.
Drive operational performance against key metrics including productivity, waste, hygiene, and compliance.
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to develop frontline staff.
Collaborate with other Shift TL's, Managers and Operations teams to ensure seamless shift transitions.
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience in FMCG, Food Production or similar environment is highly advantageous.
Leadership experience is preferred, but you can step into leadership with the right background.
Strong people management and communication skills would be preferred.
Willingness to train and develop others is essential.
