Overview
As a Deputy Home Manager, you'll be making sure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This means providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that's unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Responsibilities
You will manage day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring residents receive appropriate care plans, maintaining accurate records, and fostering a team culture of kindness and professionalism. You will also identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, escalating issues when necessary, and supporting staff through coaching and training.
Qualifications
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC Code of Practice. You should have a background in person‑centred care planning within a care home, excellent time‑management skills, and a natural ability to mentor and inspire staff. Positive energy, a brilliant, caring attitude, and effective communication with residents and co‑workers are essential.
