About This Opportunity
Acron Aviation Training Systems plays a key role in delivering the Acron Aviation Solutions mantra of ‘Creating Safer Skies’. From computer‑based solutions to state‑of‑the‑art Full Flight Simulators (FFS), our Fixed Training Devices (FTD) and FFS feature aircraft‑specific flight decks that reflect the real aircraft’s form, fit, feel and function.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Systems Engineer to join our Aerospace Flight Simulation team. The ideal candidate will oversee system integration, verification and validation of advanced flight simulation systems, interact directly with customers for acceptance and resolve issues during development, testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead the integration of hardware and software subsystems into cohesive flight simulation systems and maintain configurations for operational efficiency.
 * Design and implement integration procedures; troubleshoot issues and identify root causes to ensure seamless performance.
 * Define and execute test plans to verify system performance, functionality and safety; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
 * Develop detailed test reports summarizing results, deviations and corrective actions.
 * Act as the primary customer contact during acceptance; conduct system tests and demonstrations to gain sign‑off.
 * Respond to system issues identified during testing or from customer feedback, collaborating with internal teams for prompt resolution.
 * Document, track and report all issues and provide technical support and training for customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
 * Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
 * Strong understanding of flight simulation systems and components.
 * Proficiency in system integration, hardware/software interfaces, and performance testing.
 * Experience with simulation software tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, RTOS), modeling languages and simulation platforms.
 * Knowledge of industry standards such as DO‑178C, DO‑254.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and customer interaction.
 * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to resolve complex system issues under tight deadlines.
Desirable
 * Experience with FFS, FTD or other man‑in‑the‑loop simulation environments.
 * Prior customer‑facing roles during system acceptance testing.
 * Certification or training in INCOSE Systems Engineering practices.
 * Exposure to agile or hybrid development methodologies.
 * Familiarity with military and commercial flight simulation regulations.

 * Must be eligible to work worldwide and obtain necessary security clearances if required.
