Are you a confident Early Years practitioner ready to lead a warm, nurturing EYFS room?
We are looking for an inspiring EYFS Room Leader to join a lovely setting in Vauxhall on a full‑time basis, starting after the Easter break. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced EYFS professional who is passionate about early learning, confident leading a small team, and committed to delivering high‑quality care and education.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 EYFS Practitioner (or above)
* Qualified Teacher / HLTA with strong EYFS experience
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
* Confident leading a room and supporting a team of practitioners
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child‑centred practice
* Able to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
* Passionate about children’s early development, wellbeing and learning
* Organised, proactive and confident with safeguarding responsibilities
The Role
* Leading the EYFS room and supporting daily routines
* Planning high‑quality, play‑based activities
* Overseeing learning journals, observations and developmental tracking
* Supporting behaviour, communication and early social skill development
* Working closely with the wider team, SLT and parents
* Ensuring a warm, caring and consistent atmosphere for all children
