About the Opportunity
We’re searching for a proactive and forward-thinking Continuous Improvement Project Engineer to take ownership of process optimisation and improvement initiatives across production, engineering, and technical operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys challenging the status quo, leading change, and driving tangible improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support senior management in identifying, prioritising, and planning key optimisation projects across the site
* Prepare, budget, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects focused on process improvement, plant upgrades, and new investments
* Lead improvement initiatives across manufacturing, services, and plant operations
* Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
* Ensure all work complies with performance standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
* Support production and technical teams in meeting customer requirements and enhancing product quality
* Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, and provide detailed progress reports to management
* Assign responsibilities, guide project teams, and encourage effective communication and collaboration
* Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer in a manufacturing or process environment
* Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and engineering project management
* Excellent working knowledge of CAD software and the ability to produce technical documentation (schematics, circuit diagrams, etc.)
* Competence with measurement and control technologies, and familiarity with industry standards and best practices
* Confident leading cross-departmental projects and driving engagement at all levels
* Methodical and analytical mindset with excellent planning and decision-making skills
* Degree-qualified in Process, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent discipline)
* Advanced skills in MS Office and other project management tools
