PE Teacher – Secondary School – Liverpool
Milk Education Liverpool is seeking an energetic, motivated, and dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the local area. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified PE Teacher who is passionate about promoting physical activity, wellbeing, and a positive school culture through high‑quality sports education.
As a PE Teacher, you will play an essential role in delivering a broad and engaging PE curriculum, inspiring students of all abilities, and helping them develop teamwork, confidence, and lifelong healthy habits. We are looking for a PE Teacher who brings enthusiasm, strong subject knowledge, and a commitment to creating enjoyable learning experiences both inside and outside the sports hall.
Responsibilities of the PE Teacher:
1. Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
3. Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and sportsmanship
4. Lead extra‑curricular sports activities, clubs, or teams where required
5. Encourage participation and confidence in physical activity
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole‑school initiatives
Requirements for the PE Teacher Role:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
8. Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
9. Strong knowledge of a range of sports and physical activities
10. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
11. A positive, energetic approach to teaching and coaching
12. A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
