Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer based in Worcester who due to expansion are looking for a Toolroom Team Leader to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Overseeing a team, ensuring production targets are being hit
Assisting other team members, providing training and support
Millings, Turning, Grinding, Bench Fitting duties
Stripping / Assembling dies and trimtools
Use of Overhead Crane / FLT
Maintaining Die and Trim tool conditions
Supporting other priorities within the toolroom e.g. machine breakdowns
Working in a disciplined, methodical approach, complying with all Company Procedures
Adhering to strict health and safety proceduresThe ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working within a toolroom environment
Previous supervisory or team leader experience
Use of Overhead Crane / FLT (Ideally - training can be given)
Previous experience Turning, Milling, Grinding or Bench Fitting
A "can do" attitudeShifts & Salary:
Days & Afternoons rotating
6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm (Monday - Friday)
