Role Overview
Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnership Hosted service Mountcastle Health Centre is offering a part‑time, permanent Band 6 Dietitian position (28.8 hours, 0.8 WTE). The role will be based within the Community Dietetic Team at Mountcastle Health Centre in Edinburgh, contributing to the wider Lothian Dietetic Service.
In this post you will deliver care to individuals living with malnutrition across NHS Lothian and play a key part in driving service innovation, with a focus on early intervention.
Responsibilities
* Provide nutrition assessment, advice, and care for patients with malnutrition throughout NHS Lothian.
* Develop and implement early‑intervention strategies to address malnutrition in community settings.
* Deliver cross‑cover to other NHS Lothian sites as required.
* Travel across the region as essential for service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should be a registered Band 6 Dietitian with experience in community dietetics and malnutrition management. The post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult). PVG registration will be required prior to starting.
Training & Development
