Maintenance Operative – Kitchen Extraction / Ventilation Hygiene
£24000-£26000 + Full Training + Benefits
A leading facilities management consultancy specialising in kitchen extraction and ventilation hygiene across commercial environments is expanding its maintenance division. They are currently seeking a Maintenance Operative to join an established team to cover the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire area including Central London.
This role requires no experience however, a background in maintenance or hands-on/manual work would be advantageous. The ideal Maintenance Operative will be eager to learn a new trade and be motivated to work towards industry-recognised qualifications.
Key duties for the Maintenance Operative will include
* The inspection of kitchen extraction systems
* The removing, cleaning and refitting of canopy filters
* Assisting in the installation of new access panel including fire dampener testing
* Maintain site paperwork in line with industry guidelines and fire safety standard
The successful Maintenance Operative will need the following
* Strong communication skills and be comfortable in a client facing role
* Be happy working in confined spaces and undertake evening work
* Have a good level of fitness
* Full driving license (the role will work as a pair and cover multiple sites in your region)
