Job Overview
An opportunity within the UK Export Contract Management Team for an ambitious project manager to provide project and contract administrative support across a challenging portfolio of export contracts.
Responsibilities
* Engage with a wide range of international customers across North and South America, Asia, the Middle and Far East, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
* Provide significant business contribution to an expanding portfolio of export contracts.
* Support the MBDA Export Contract Manager in organising and preparing customer‑facing meetings, including post‑contract kick‑off, progress and acceptance meetings.
* Handle routine administrative aspects with customers such as document definition and coordination for delivery and payment, including letters of credit, bank guarantees and transportation.
* Prepare and coordinate with involved MBDA functions for customer deliveries in close liaison with the Shipping department.
* Provide support during customer‑facing Factory Acceptance Tests at MBDA sites for a wide range of MBDA products and assist loading procedures at departure ports and during customer acceptance in the concerned country.
* Gather all information pertaining to export licence condition fulfilment and ensure completeness of the export licence tools in conjunction with the Export Control function.
Qualifications

* Proven experience in project management, the defence sector, and exposure to international customers.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including an open, confident and clear communication style.
* A high degree of self‑motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Practical relationship management to maintain and grow relationships with customers, industrial partners and internal teams.
* Previous experience of working functions such as finance, customer support, export control, project management, quality and shipping.
Additional Information
Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2–3 days per week on site.
Security clearance: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship, and successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
Paid annual leave: 25 days per calendar year, with additional days awarded at 5, 10 and 15 years of service.
