As Site Financial Controller, you will be the financial cornerstone of our Widnes operations. You'll lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring alignment with both local and international business goals. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions and operational improvements.
Location: Widnes
Salary: £50,000+/- per annum plus performance based bonus
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Mon-Thurs), 8:00am - 1:00pm (Friday)
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all site financial activities, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Partner with operational leaders to drive financial performance and cost control
Ensure timely and accurate month-end close and financial reporting
Maintain compliance with UK and European financial regulations and internal policies
Support internal and external audits, ensuring robust financial controls
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
Provide financial leadership and guidance to site teams and senior management
What We're Looking For
Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong financial leadership experience
Proven track record in manufacturing or production environments
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proactive, hands-on approach with a strategic mindset
Experience working in international or multi-site operations is a plus
