Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events across the North West. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with experience in rest Catering, restaurant and hotel environments. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, time management abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services. The Event Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of events run smoothly, from initial planning through to execution.
To be considered for this position you must have a full UK drivers licence and be available to work evenings and weekends
Duties
* Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment arrangements.
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
* Upsell additional services and products to enhance the guest experience and maximise revenue.
* Collaborate with team members to create event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
* Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event, addressing any issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
* Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
* Assist in fundraising efforts when applicable, developing strategies to engage sponsors and donors.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in event management or a related field, preferably within hospitality settings such as restaurants or hotels.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.
* Experience in fundraising is advantageous but not essential.
* A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
* Full UK Drivers Licence required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
