Duration: Three months, approximately 22 hours per week, with the possibility of extension. Your impact The Power BI Content Developer will create high-quality, engaging curriculum materials for a 60-hour Power BI training program (40 sessions × 1.5 hours). You will translate complex Power BI concepts into clear, accessible content that builds technical mastery in data modeling, Power Query, DAX, visualization, and Power BI Service deployment. Your work will directly support learner development and help prepare participants for real-world analytics roles and the PL-300 certification. A day in the life Content Development Develop written materials for a 40-session Power BI course. Create session scripts, hands-on activities, quizzes, datasets, assessments, and instructor notes aligned with instructional goals. Build advanced scenarios covering dimensional modeling, DAX calculations, performance tuning, and visualization best practices. Produce mock PL-300 practice exam questions and guided solutions. Research & Analysis Ensure content is current, accurate, and aligned with industry standards and the Microsoft Power BI ecosystem. Use participant feedback, analytics, and best practices in adult learning to iterate and improve content quality. Collaboration Work closely with Correlation One’s learning design team to ensure accuracy and learner accessibility. Collaborate with designers to build visually appealing content, diagrams, and learning assets. Deliverables: 40 Curriculum Sessions (60 Hours Total) Each session includes: Learning objectives Instructional content Hands-on activities with datasets PBIX examples and solutions Assessment Materials Knowledge checks Hands-on assignments with solutions PL-300 style practice exam Your expertise Must hold the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification. A degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Proven experience designing or developing Power BI curriculum or training materials. Strong proficiency in: Power Query transformations DAX (fundamental → advanced) Data modeling & star schema design Visualization design principles Power BI Service (workspaces, refresh, apps, RLS) Excellent instructional writing and curriculum structuring skills. Experience developing hands-on labs and practice data scenarios. Strong research and analytical capabilities. Effective communicator and collaborator with an understanding of adult learning principles. Where you are This role is remote and can be located anywhere. The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. A reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position is $30/hr.These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets.
