Job Description
The In-House Banking Lawyer will be:
* Providing legal advice on securitisation transactions across various asset classes, including mortgage loans, credit cards, auto loans, and trade receivables
* Supporting other debt capital markets (DCM) transactions, such as covered bonds, unsecured bond issuances, and structured products
* Collaborating with business areas across Corporate & Institutional Banking to deliver pragmatic legal solutions
* Engaging in strategic and regulatory projects related to DCM
* Contributing to central initiatives within the Legal & Secretariat function
The Successful Applicant
The In-House Banking Lawyer should be:
* A solicitor or equivalent with a current practising certificate in a relevant jurisdiction
* Possessing ideally 7+ years' post-qualification experience in securitisation and DCM, gained in private practice or in-house
* Experienced in providing commercial legal advice and leading complex transactions
* Adaptable, with a willingness to engage in various DCM products and projects
* Skilled in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions
