This role will be based out of our HQ in Chippenham with the opportunity for hybrid working. This is a permanent opportunity. Role Overview Job Role: PC Analyst III Location : Chippenham HQ (Hybrid working available) Salary : Circa £34,000 Contract : Permanent ️ What You’ll Do As a PC Analyst III this role will primarily focus on providing support for Internal users and External clients on desktop support, Client Facing Systems and, on an ad-hoc basis, supporting with the following duties: Provide comprehensive IT support to multiple automotive dealership locations, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware (PCs, laptops, mobile devices) and software. Prepare and deliver customer hardware with proper configuration aligned to job role requirements. Lead special projects and stretch assignments with minimal supervision. Provide an exceptional customer experience through timely and effective support. Actively participate in the Helpdesk Call Centre, monitoring email and Incident queues. Collaborate with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot complex IT issues, escalate major incidents as necessary, and coordinate resolution efforts to minimize business impact. Escalate major issues or outages to management as required. Develop and maintain accurate documentation for processes and solutions adhering to ISO9001 practices. Receive deliveries and maintain stockroom inventory (physical requirement). Manage and lead desktop-related projects. Participate in IT project initiatives, contributing to project planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews to achieve project objectives and deliverables effectively. Provide technical guidance and training to end-users, including executives and senior management, to enhance their understanding and utilization of IT resources and applications. Assist with training and development of Level I and II team members. Handle complex incidents through to resolution. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone with: Significant experience in managing more complex IT Incidents from identification to resolution, taking ownership and showing initiative Advanced technical knowledge of PC, laptop, and mobile device hardware. Expertise in Holman-supported software, including Windows 11, Microsoft Office, SCCM Client, and related tools. Networking familiarity, including switches and network cards. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Physical capability to lift/carry up to 15kg and work under desks when required.
