Your responsibilities will include:
Your role as Finance Business Partner
* Providing proactive financial analysis and advice to management on operational and commercial issues, including pricing, investments, acquisitions, business cases, capex, and cost tracking.
* Supporting the management team in developing the business profitably within approved business plans.
* Delivering user-friendly management information to the MD and management team, interpreting variances, trends, and operational implications.
* Assisting with budget preparation, monthly trading packs, and presenting results to senior leadership.
* Coordinating budget and forecasting processes, providing analysis and commentary to management and finance teams.
* Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
* Collaborating on pricing strategies and operational efficiencies to enhance profitability.
* Working closely with credit control and sales teams to meet targets.
The ideal candidate
* Proactive self-starter based in Midlands; qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
* Experience as a Business Partner within a senior management team, understanding key business drivers.
* Hands-on experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Ability to sustain profitability and quality using KPIs and ratios.
* Strong commercial awareness and risk evaluation skills.
* Exceptional communication skills for engaging with senior managers and stakeholders.
* Open, honest, and constructive communicator.
* Experience in a multi-site B2B service organization preferred.
