Job Description
* Inspecting and assessing the condition of buildings.
* Damp & Mould surveys
* Identifying building defects and areas of disrepair.
* Providing recommendations for repair and improvement works.
* Ensuring all construction projects adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Preparing reports on building condition and maintenance requirements.
* Overseeing contractors and ensuring quality of work.
* Contributing to the development of building maintenance policies and procedures.
* Assisting in the preparation of budgets for building works.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Building Surveyor should have:
* A degree in Building Surveying or a relevant field.
* Knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and health and safety regulations.
* Experience in inspecting, assessing, and reporting on the condition of buildings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical solutions.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
