Are you someone who has a passion for supporting children with SEND?
I am working closely with a wonderful Primary School in the BS22 area of Weston-Super-Mare who is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children with ASD needs.
This school provides an inclusive environment and curriculum, supporting children with additional needs to access and develop their learning at their own pace.
Role Overview:
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working with SEND, whether in a school or other setting. We are interested in speaking with you if you have a calm and nurturing presence and understand how to adapt activities to meet children's needs.
You will need the ability to:
* Communicate clearly with the SENCO and staff.
* Use your initiative to support children with varied abilities and needs.
* Provide a safe and calming environment.
Working with Long-term Teachers:
