We are looking for registered Pharmacy Technicians who will be based at King George Hospital in Goodmayes.
Responsibilities
* Clinical ward‑based duties, including counselling and transcribing.
* In‑ and out‑patient dispensary work.
* Assessment of patients' own drugs and drug history taking.
* Discharge counselling.
* Routine pharmaceutical duties performed professionally to provide a high‑quality, patient‑oriented service in dispensaries and on the wards.
* Competence in the assessment of patients' own drugs and in taking a medication history.
Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Will consider newly qualified technicians or those about to qualify.
* Hard working, accurate, with experience working in a UK hospital.
