Overview
As our Wrap Around Care Manager, you'll lead the team, plan engaging activities, build great relationships with families, and ensure every child feels supported, happy and safe. We are launching a brand new extended school provision and seek an energetic, motivated leader to create fun, safe and meaningful experiences for primary aged children.
Responsibilities
* Provide strong leadership to inspire and manage a team
* Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that support child development
* Build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff and children
* Ensure safeguarding, safety and well-being of all children in the wrap around provision
* Collaborate with colleagues to create safe, inclusive and high-quality experiences
* Communicate professionally with parents, staff and children
* Demonstrate initiative and remain calm under pressure
* Apply effective behaviour management strategies
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong leadership skills and ability to work as part of a supportive team
* Solid understanding of child development
* Excellent organisation and administrative skills
* Creativity in planning varied, age-appropriate activities
* Experience supporting children with SEN
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
* Food hygiene and paediatric first aid (desirable)
