Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team our Telford site, supporting an exciting project for our customer RBSL. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Multitask Operatives to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations, from inbound and outbound activity to inventory management and order fulfilment. This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, on rotating shifts covering the hours of 06:00 till 14:00 and 14:00 till 22:00. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all! Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,576 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service What you’ll do on a typical day: Lead and motivate a team of Multitask Operatives to deliver daily warehouse operations. Distribute workloads effectively to maximise productivity and meet deadlines. Be a visible presence on the warehouse floor, leading by example with a safety-first approach. Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations. Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes and implementing efficiency strategies. What you need to succeed at GXO: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a warehouse or similar environment Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Basic MS Office skills and confidence using warehouse systems Willingness to undertake training for safety roles (e.g., Fire Marshal, Incident Controller) Security clearance eligibility and flexibility to work varied hours when required We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
