Key Account Manager / Vertical Sales Lead

REPORTS TO

Head of Sales

PURPOSE

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Vertical Sales Lead / Key Account Managerto spearhead our sales efforts in the energy sector. You will be responsible for developing new business, building deep relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone excited by the challenge and opportunity of working in a startup environment - where you’ll have a direct impact on our growth trajectory.

COMPANY PROFILE

Legacy training systems can’t support the pace of the energy transition, leaving workforces unprepared to perform safely and businesses exposed to compliance risks. Chorus help teams perform safely in hazardous industries with an AI-enabled application and closes compliance gaps through digital learning.

Objectives:

* Drive new revenue growth across your target market, with a focus on executing the sales strategy aligning with company goals within the energy sector verticals.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
* Identify customer needs, challenges and goals to position our solutions effectively.
* Manage the full sales cycle and pipeline process working closely with implementation teams to ensure customer success.
* Provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and strategy.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Duties:

Sales Performance & Revenue Delivery

* Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
* Implement CRM tools for tracking and reporting.
* Track and report on key sales metrics.
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts.
* Successfully create and convert new business leads.

Customer Success & Retention

* Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to customer success or onboarding teams.
* Contribute to building long-term customer relationships and reducing churn.
* Integrate customer feedback into future sales tactics and product development.
* Provide feedback to the product team based on customer insights and market demands.
