Job Title: Payroll Officer
Following some changes in our Payroll Team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to work within the Payroll Team at MU Services Ltd. You will report to the Payroll Manager and be involved in activities such as processing starters, leavers, ad hoc payments, calculating statutory deductions, benefits, and addressing employees' queries.
Your responsibilities include ensuring efficient systems and processes for the timely and accurate calculation and payment of employee salaries, in accordance with university policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations.
You should have a good understanding of payroll calculations, including National Insurance Contributions, PAYE, and pensions related to payroll queries.
This role requires a solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and effective communication with colleagues, staff, and third parties.
