Collide Technical is working with a leading precision engineering company based in Ferndown, and is currently seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join their quality team.

The Role
You will be responsible for the inspection of precision-engineered components, ensuring all products meet strict quality and aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspecting machined components to engineering drawings and specifications
* Performing first-off, in-process, and final inspection
* Using a range of inspection equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges, etc.)
* Completing inspection documentation and quality reports
* Supporting quality investigations and non-conformance processes
* Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
* Managing your own workload with a high level of autonomy
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Mechanical Inspector within precision engineering
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using manual inspection equipment
* CMM experience desirable (training provided if required)
* Background in aerospace or highly regulated industries beneficial
* Self-motivated with a quality-first mindset
