Job Description
* Role will primarily involve supporting the Senior Tax Manager to prepare corporation tax returns using Alphatax for up to 4 UK companies.
* Assist with UK tax provisions for UK statutory accounts e.g. UK tax disclosures for the year ended 31 March 2025 for at least 4-5 companies (priority area and skills requirement)
* Ad hoc tasks will also include assistance with calculating the UK RDEC accrual and assist with the corporate interest restriction return
* Set up simplified group relief arrangement for and support with SAO
* Role may evolve over time due to ongoing changes in the team
The Successful Applicant
A successful UK Tax Analyst should have:
* Strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
* Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
* Strong communication skills for conveying complex tax information.
* Proficiency in using financial software and databases (preferably Alphatax experience)
* Ability to work well within a team and independently, with an ability to prioritise.
