What the job looks like day-to-day

Own a small portfolio of European road accounts: take bookings, arrange collections/deliveries, track progress and close the loop with customers.
*
Keep customers in the picture with clear ETAs, status notes, PODs and after-care follow up.
*
Liaise with partners/carriers to keep groupage, part-load and full-load movements on track; flag risks early and steer exceptions to a clean outcome.
*
Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in the TMS; follow agreed workflows every time.
*
Support pricing/rate requests and simple quotes when needed.
You’ll suit this if you have
*
Experience in European road transport customer service (groupage and/or FTL/LTL).
*
Confident phone/email manner. Clear, calm, and customer-focused.
*
Solid attention to detail.
*
Comfortable using transport/ERP systems and Excel; quick to pick up new tools.
*
A proactive mindset: when plans change, you organise the fix and communicate it.
