Job Opportunity: Children’s Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children’s Support Worker to join our team!
Responsibilities
* Provide direct care and support to children, promoting their emotional and physical well-being.
* Build trusting relationships through consistent, respectful communication.
* Support children with daily routines, education, and recreational activities.
* Work in partnership with social workers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with safeguarding protocols.
* Respond effectively to crises and challenging behaviour, following care plans and safeguarding procedures.
About You / Qualifications
* Experience working with children or young people, particularly those who have experienced trauma, neglect, or additional needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, Youth Work, or similar (desirable but not essential).
* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
