Brentwood Prep School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Admissions Manager to lead the recruitment strategy and day-to-day admissions processes for our Prep School. This key role is central to building and sustaining our diverse and vibrant community, guiding families from their first inquiry through to the transition into Senior School. Whether welcoming multigenerational Old Brentwoods or new families, the Admissions Manager helps shape the future of our school from the earliest stages.
As part of a highly collaborative admissions team serving pupils aged 3–18, this is an exciting opportunity to join the largest tied house Prep School in the UK. Working closely with the Senior School Head of Admissions and the Marketing & Communications Team, the role ensures a seamless and coordinated approach across all school stages, supported by shared systems and a culture of mutual learning and teamwork.
Following a major investment in facilities in 2020 and the introduction of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme in 2024, Brentwood Prep balances tradition with innovation. The Admissions Manager will also line manage the new Admissions Administrator – Parent Communications, who will play a key role in supporting prospective families and coordinating events, tours, and assessments. Brentwood School has its own pay scale that is significantly above the maintained sector.
For further information about working at Brentwood School, please see the links on this page or email: recruitment@brentwood.essex.sch.uk Applications can be submitted through the TES website, alternatively, applicants who do not have a TES account should use the relevant Interactive Recruitment Form on this page. The School reserves the right to change these dates, and to close the vacancy at any time.
Brentwood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
