Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Tarvit Ward Adamson Community Hospital for a Health Care Support Worker. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, supportive and hardworking individual with a passion for caring for older adults, focusing on rehabilitation and re‑enablement, as well as specialist palliative care.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to registered nursing staff to ensure delivery of high quality care.
* Carry out assigned tasks, ensuring safe, effective and person‑centred care.
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers and relatives.
* Work as part of a progressive, innovative team.
Shift Pattern
Tarvit Ward consists of 18 General Rehabilitation/Re‑enablement beds and 4 specialist palliative care beds. There is a rotational shift pattern consisting of day and night shifts over seven days per week, using a 12.5‑hour shift pattern.

* Applicants must become members of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
* An appropriate right to work in the United Kingdom must be demonstrated. This is required by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
* Applicants must be able to prove entitlement through visa, EU settled or pre‑settled status, or other recognised routes.
