An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join a leading and fast-growing accountancy firm, widely recognised as a Great Place to Work.
Due to continued success and a significant increase in new client wins, the firm is expanding its audit offering and is looking to recruit a high-calibre Audit Manager to support its growth.
Working with a diverse portfolio of businesses—from household names to high-growth start-ups—the successful candidate will go beyond traditional audit responsibilities, providing valuable insight and commercial advice that supports clients’ development.
This is a progressive role that would suit an Audit Manager with ambitions to step up to Senior Manager in the near term. The successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute ideas and take an active role in the continued growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, plan and deliver a broad range of corporate audit engagements
* Manage assurance assignments from planning through to completion, including statutory and group reporting
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development as trusted business advisors
* Monitor engagement budgets and agree fees with clients
* Manage and develop strong client relationships
* Contribute to business development initiatives and local market engagement
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients, ideally across a range of sectors
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commercial outlook and desire to contribute to wider team success
* A full UK driving licence and access to transport
