Deputy store manager

This global fashion retailer are seeking a Deputy Manager for their new Bluewater store where you'll support all aspects of the store opening, including recruitment, onboarding, and training of the team along with store set-up, visual merchandising and floor layout implementation, making the store look great and achieving the one goal - ensuring the best experience for colleagues and customers.

About the role
This is a new store opening and as Deputy Manager you'll play a key role during the set-up phase and so you should be flexible to work extended hours where needed to deliver a successful opening, along with being responsible for creating a good atmosphere and motivating the team.

Responsibilities include:

• Support and assist the Store Manager and working in partnership with the management team
• Analyse sales performance daily and make strong commercial decisions to maximise result
• Ensure smooth daily operations, leading the store confidently in the absence of the Store Manager
• Being a role model to the team, driving great energy and atmosphere on the shop floor
• Support the growth and development of your team to deliver on KPIs, product knowledge, service, visual merchandising, and operations
