My client, a well renowned international Law Firm, are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their generalist HR team.
This role will work closely with an insipiring HR Manager and support the growing international client groups and offices. The the role will provide a great opportunity to upskill, in a company renowned for developing their staff.
Salary - up to £30k
Location - Leeds, with hybrid working
Key responsibilities will include:
* Support new joiners from offer stage through to commencement and manage leaver processes, including exit interviews
* Support UK and international secondments, including outbound and inbound arrangements
* Maintain a strong understanding of local employment, tax and immigration requirements across supported jurisdictions, ensuring compliance across employee matters
* Provid support to the HR Manager on Employee Relations cases.
* Manage parental leave and flexible working processes in partnership with line managers
* Partner with the Resourcing team to deliver effective recruitment solutions, including vacancy approvals, offer management and onboarding support
* Provide practical, timely guidance to managers, ensuring compliance with local legislation, firm policies and values
* Coordinate secondment requests and provide input into relocation considerations where required
* Support line managers with the firm’s performance management and regular check-in processes
* Assist with promotion and annual salary review processes across client groups
* Produce management information and reporting to identify trends and support decision-making
The suitable Human Resources Assistant will need to be an experienced HR generalist and must be able to manage multiple HR duties at once.
They will also be personable, with the ability to forge strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and possess excellent written and oral skills. Experience of working in a similar environment or professional service is essential.
