About the Role:
As a Computer Science Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and cutting-edge technology. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
* Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Computer Science concepts and develop their computational thinking skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress in Computer Science, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and departmental resources.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Computer Science and integrate new technologies into the classroom.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Computer Science teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
* A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Computer Science .
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
