Job Purpose
The EMEA financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team is designed to lead a best-in-class function that enhances the planning process, analytics and reporting within the region and to the global group based in Japan. You will play a crucial role in supporting the team by providing technical expertise and assistance in the maintenance, and optimisation of financial systems. This internship will offer valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment and provide opportunities to develop skills in financial analysis, data management, and systems integration.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Leverage data and information from key systems to allow the finance team to develop value add analysis and insights
* Quality assurance system inputs, reconcile outputs and inputs
* Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis using financial systems and tools
* Provide technical support to the FP&A team members and other stakeholders regarding system usage, troubleshooting and training
* Aid with the month end process and production of key financial KPIs
* Support with the monthly (Sales & Operations) S&OP process, primarily Tagetik
* Assist in the implementation and configuration of new financials systems or modules
* Support documentation write-up of critical processes
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business System Management or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Passionate about finance systems and adding value to teams and organisations
* Highly proficient IT skills and abilities. Current systems in use Excel, Tagetik Microsoft Dynamics
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
