The role
The purpose of this role to contribute to the delivery of an effective and efficient income management service which achieves stated rates of collection, consistently improving customer satisfaction levels, maximisation of Regenda tenants' income, sustainable tenancies and financial stability of the Regenda Group. To be focused on meeting all relevant expectations and standards relating to the social housing regulator and tenant satisfaction measures; complaints within scope of the housing ombudsman service and safeguarding adults and children.
You will need to ensure the customer voice is at the heart of service delivery, using complaints and satisfaction survey results to drive continuous improvement and ensuring all customers are treated fairly, with respect and in recognition of their individual requirements and any protected characteristics, and that all customer complaints and enquiries are dealt with promptly and to a high standard.
The right fit
* Experience of managing a range of housing related debt on a patch basis.
* Knowledge of welfare benefits and experience of providing general advice to tenants as part of arrears prevention work.
* An understanding of the rent recovery process including the law around possession, and government policy around welfare reform and its impact on the sector, Regenda and its customers.
* Must be able to drive, have access to a car, hold a valid driving licence and have business insurance to claim mileage.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in written format.
