An inclusive 2-form entry primary school in High Wycombe is seeking a dedicated BSL professional to join their team, working primarily within their well-established
Additional Resource Provision (ARP). The ARP caters for children with hearing impairments and communication needs, and you'll play a key role in ensuring access to learning through expert BSL support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group BSL communication support for pupils in the ARP and mainstream settings
Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
Facilitate inclusive learning and emotional wellbeing through effective communication strategies
Adapt and modify class content to suit individual pupil needs
Requirements:
BSL Level 6 qualification
(or equivalent)
Experience working with children with hearing impairments or within an educational setting
A commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress
DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
