Senior Care Assistant - Days or Nights Nottingham From £12.80 per hour (dependent on experience) Full-Time | Day or Night Shifts Available About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join a well-established 49-bedded residential home in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated individual to take on a leadership role within a supportive team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will work either full-time days or full-time nights, providing guidance to care staff while ensuring residents receive safe, dignified, and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Leading and supervising Care Assistants on shift Administering and recording medication in line with policy Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks Updating and reviewing care plans Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, reporting concerns appropriately Conducting handovers and maintaining accurate documentation Promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times Ensuring safeguarding and CQC standards are upheld Supporting new staff and mentoring junior team members Requirements Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or experienced Care Assistant ready to step up NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred) Medication administration training Strong leadership and communication skills Good understanding of safeguarding and residential care standards Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer Competitive pay from £12.80 per hour Full-time contracted hours Supportive and stable working environment Ongoing training and career development opportunities Opportunity to make a real difference within a 49-bed residential setting If you are passionate about delivering high standards of care and ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
