The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of national and international clients and will demonstrate a global mindset and cross-cultural competence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop an in depth understanding of client and customer goals, developing the ability to anticipate needs
* Pro-actively service, support, and provide customers with improvement opportunities to increase income, maximise attrition and meet Company strategic objectives.
* Assist in the implementation of new customers and develop relationships that reflect positively on the Company.
* Assisting with new business implementations and sales department
* Adept at navigating complex business needs and effectively driving growth
* Awareness of cultural differences, with an ability to adapt style as required across our global footprint.
* Manage account Management Reviews, including Account development and improvement plans
* Responsible for contract and service level agreement creation, fee reviews & monitoring of performance
* Develop and provide data analysis and reporting
* Facilitate and manage product demonstrations
* Manage and update information in any client database the company may apply
* Review and propose updates to the travel policy, including consultation and compliance monitoring
* Matrix management, connecting the customer and Travel at all levels within each business
* Manage attrition in line with the business KPIs
* Attending events on behalf of the company
* Commitment to continual personal development, ensuring market, industry, and competitor knowledge is exemplary.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree level educated in related discipline or equivalent experience in account management
* Extensive experience in account management, preferably with global or multi-national customers
* Extensive experience working with senior level decision makers
* Demonstrable experience in project management
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical skills with an ability to process complex information
* Strategic thinker
* Extensive experience with MS office packages.
