At Walton Academy, we believe that every young person deserves the chance to thrive – academically, socially, and personally. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Pastoral Mentor to join our supportive team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
This role is at the heart of our commitment to student welfare. Whether you are new to this type of role or bring previous experience, we are looking for someone who shares our passion for helping pupils reach their aspirations.
We warmly welcome visits to our academy – come and meet our team, see our community in action, and discover what makes Walton such a rewarding place to work.
Why join Walton Academy?
We are a large secondary academy for students aged 11-18 years based in Grantham with over 900 students. In our latest Ofsted inspection, we were rated 'good' overall with praise of 'Pupils enjoy coming to school and value the education they receive. They benefit from the dedication of staff and leaders. Pupils know that their teachers want them to do well and they feel well supported.'
Visits are welcomed and encouraged – please contact Katie Bagnall, Business Manager, to arrange, or for further information.
