SEND Nurture Teacher
to join our supportive team in a
Special Educational Needs (SEN) school
in
Halewood, Liverpool. This is a
full-time role
for someone who can create a calm, inclusive, and structured environment where children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. The Role: Deliver a creative and responsive curriculum to a small group of pupils with complex needs, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Focus on emotional well being, social development, and academic progress through nurture-based teaching Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families to create personalised learning plans Support pupils in developing emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence Maintain a safe, structured, and caring classroom environment About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching children with SEN, particularly SEMH or ASD A nurturing, trauma-informed approach to teaching and behaviour management Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education What We Offer: A caring and supportive team committed to holistic child development Ongoing CPD and specialist training in SEND and nurture approaches Small class sizes and strong staff-to-pupil ratios A rewarding opportunity to positively impact lives every day
